Striving for improvements
The results the study were not all bad news, however. It seems that the insurance industry has taken the hint, with a number of companies seeking to revise their practices (or at least claiming to) in order to place customer satisfaction as a high priority. More than 80 percent of insurance company respondents said they were actively monitoring and evaluating customer interactions, and over 60 percent cited reduced cycling times in recent months.
All of this indicates that the industry is aware that the problem exists. Whether or not they take meaningful action to improve the customer experience is yet to be seen.
