Tips for Hiring the Right Public Adjuster

Once you have answers from the references, ask the public adjuster to answer some questions for you and ask them the following questions:

1. Will they be the person working on your claim?
2. How long has the public adjuster been licensed and settling claims?
3. Do they live locally and/or are they familiar with your state, county, and city laws?
4. Are they a member of the Florida Association of Public Adjusters?
5. What percentage of the claim will they charge as their fee?
6. What fee am I charged if the claim gets denied?
